Warm Chia Porridge

Chia? Warm? I know sounds WEIRD! But trust me it WORKS and tastes DAMN FINE! Plus - it means we can enjoy chia ALL YEAR LONG! Give this recipe a go! Try changing up the fruits! Maybe caramelised banana? or apple? Let me know what you's create and tag @herpurelife!



  • 1 pear, cut into small chunks with the skin

  • pinch of cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 1/2 cups of milk of your choice

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

To Do

  1. Mix chia seeds and 1 cup of milk into a bowl and mix until combined and leave overnight!

  2. In the morning, heat butter in a small heavy-based pan.

  3. Add pears and cinnamon and cook until golden and softened.

  4. Meanwhile, heat the chia porridge in a pot over a medium heat and add the rest of the milk.

  5. Once warm, spoon porridge into a bowl and top with roasted pear.

  6. ENJOY!
